Children

Serving children is a main focus of the congregation.  This is accomplished by:

• Special programs planned and implemented by the on-staff Youth and Family Ministry Director.  This includes events and programming targeted for each age-specific group.
• The ongoing Pioneer Clubs program, which serves children from preschool through sixth grade.  The mission of Pioneer Clubs is to serve God by providing the most effective and educationally sound programs to help children follow Christ in every aspect of life.
• Kids' Church, a Sunday morning program for preschool through sixth grade.

Christian Education

Pioneer Clubs

This is our fun-filled Wednesday night program for kids from pre-kindergarten (age 4) through sixth grade.  Kids join adults to have fun doing skill building activities and  to explore the Bible together, laughing, learning, and growing in their relationship with Jesus Christ. 

Confirmation

Intended for young people in grades 7 - 8, this program explores what it is that the Church teaches and believes.  Utilizing the Bible, church history, and prayer, this class helps young people to more fully understand what it means to be a Christian.  

Adult Studies

A Bible Study is held each Tuesday at 1 PM.  Other options are occasional topical adult forums and other Bible Studies.  Please call the church for a schedule of study topics. 

Service

• by providing the church facilities as a meeting place for various community groups.
• by meeting the needs of various community individuals:  1) providing school supplies for children; 2) providing a home for developmentally disabled citizens;  3) providing Christmas gifts for families;  4) providing food and funds to the  local food bank;  5) working on many other special projects. 
• by working with various social service agencies in the larger community, providing funding to them and benefiting from their educational presentations. 
• by working through the national church body to provide missionaries, build churches, and provide disaster relief and other humanitarian assistance.
